Welcome to Niedermeier Elementary School! My name is Katrina Calhoun and I am thrilled to be joining the Niedermeier Elementary School family as your new principal! Having served as an assistant principal at Wagar for the past three years, I've seen firsthand the incredible potential within our students and staff. I've always believed that a strong school is built on a foundation of respect, accountability, and clear communication.

As a firm believer in holding students accountable not only in their actions, but their educational path, my goal is to help our young people grow into responsible, respectful future leaders. We will work together to build a school culture where every student understands the importance of their actions and how they contribute to our shared community. This means fostering an environment of mutual respect, where everyone feels heard and valued. I am committed to being transparent with you and the students, and you can expect that my door will always be open.

I know I have some big shoes to fill, but I am excited and prepared for the challenge. I can't wait to meet all of you, get to know your children, and work alongside you to make this a truly successful school year.
